TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD II

The airport and  on board

 (some words are repeated on purpose eg. get and check)

When I feel tired, I always call my friends to organize a short trip. First, we choose date and then we go to the travel agency to make a reservation of the flight and arrange accommodation.

When everything is ready I check my luggage, just a small suitcase that I can carry with me in the plane. I pack and check my documents and everything I need for the trip.

The day of the departure of our flight I wake up very early, and get immediately up to get everything ready on time. I lock my home door and go to the parking lot to take my car. I put my luggage in the boot of the car. I get into the car and drive to the airport.

When I arrive at the airport I leave the car in the parking lot. I have to be sure that I remember the floor, the letter and the colour where I leave my car.

After that I walk to the check-in area to get my boarding car, go to the police control and then to the boarding gate. The plane is parked by the building and we can board through the finger, which is more comfortable.

Once in the plane I put my small suitcase in the compartment over the seats, I sit down and fasten my seat belt.

The flight assistants give a newspaper to the passengers that want one, and show the safety instructions. The plane is ready to take off.
