Abril se despide con un chaparrón.

Hace unos días tomábamos una taza de café en el patio disfrutando de la tibieza sol, contemplando a un gatito empeñado en saltar y atrapar a una lagartija. Estuvo una hora midiendo y calculando. Abandonaba convencido de que no era posible y volvía a empezar añadiendo nuevos cálculos que le sirvieran para conseguir su cometido. Esto fue el martes, hoy es viernes, desde entonces ha llovido copiosamente. La península Ibérica totalmente cubierta por una masa de nubes lloronas y los que pueden salir este puente tendrán que conformarse, otra vez, con actividades bajo techo. Os recuerdo el refrán: Abril aguas mil y hasta el 40 de Mayo no te quites el sayo. En fin, que a pesar del cambio climático esto no cambia.

El fin de semana se presenta movidito, otra vez, la caravana hacia levante con la esperanza de que el pronóstico del tiempo este equivocado y nos podamos bañar en el mar. De cualquier forma cinco días libres son una bendición que se vive mejor fuera de la residencia habitual, aunque haya que pagar el precio de horas de carretera, esperas en estaciones de autobuses y trenes o en aeropuertos.

Y como yo me muevo desde una perspectiva escolar, después de Mayo viene Junio y ya estamos en verano otra vez...

Mientras llega, hay cambios en el sitio. Viajes, nuevos trabajos y muchos pequeños éxitos que vivimos como propios. 

De momento nos concentraremos en estas mini vacaciones y luego ¡Ya se verá!

ENGLISH (Free Translation)

April takes its leave of us with a  cloudburst.

Some days ago we were having a nice cup of coffee in the patio, enjoying the warmth of the sun, contemplating a little cat  trying to catch a lizard. He was an hour measuring and working out the distance.

He abandoned  apparently convinced it was impossible  but tried again and again adding new calculations to achieve his goal. This happened last Tuesday since then it has rained copiously. The Iberian Peninsula is totally covered with a vast mass of crying clouds  and those who will enjoy the “Puente” will have to be happy, once again, with the indoor activities. I remind you the Proverb: April lots of water and until the 40^th of May do not take of your coat. That is, despite the climatic change this facts have not changed.

The weekend comes plenty of activity, once again, the caravan to the east coast, with the hope that the weather forecast is wrong and that we will be able to have a swim in the sea. Anyway, five free days in a row are a blessing  that is better live far from our habitual residence, although we have to pay for it with long hours in the high way, waiting in bus or train stations, or airports.

And as I live from a school-timetable perspective, after May comes June and we are again in Summer…

While it comes, there are changes in the site. Trips, new jobs and little achievements that we live like ours.

At the moment we will concentrate our attention in this short  holidays and afterwards.. We will see!
