¡ Carnaval !
Desprendete de las penas
baila y baila
Da ritmo de samba a tu cuerpo.
Se un personaje ajeno
con ropaje de pirata o centurión.
Emula a Cleopatra o a un bufón,
pero haz que tu presencia
nos regale la ilusión.
Carnaval, carnaval, la,la,la,la,la,la,la...
FELIZ CARNAVAL A TODOS
Queridos padres, familia y amigos:
Y ahora como siempre “The Magic Band”
Os invita a ver: “BUSCANDO EL ÁRBOL MÁGICO”
¡Disfrutad del espectáculo!

The Story:
William: Mrs. Magic wants to go to The Annual Magic Conference in London. She was going to stay there for a couple of days. Now she is making Cooky remember about what he should do, what he should not do, What he had to remember,
What he should not forget to do, well, Buff…
Mrs. Magic: nervously rushing about…
well
Cooky, remember to switch off the lights before going to bed…
Cooky: Ok Mrs. Magic
Mrs. Magic: Don´t forget to clean your teeth after the meals and… do not forget to close the water tap…
Cooky: I´ll do! Don´t worry…
Mrs. Magic: Don´t forget to have a good breakfast.
Cooky: I won´t forget, Mrs. Magic!
Mrs. Magic: Remember to clean the cave and be vigilant…Ok, Ok, I´m goinnnng!
Cooky: I´ll do everything, Don´t worry about it and have a wonderful time.
Mrs. Magic: Thank you Cooky. See you…
Ah! Do not forget! Nobody can enter my Laboratory!
Not you either!
Cooky: Ok, Ok Mrs. Magic, Bye, Bye…
Mrs. Magic: I´m goinnnng…
WILLIAM: Cooky was overwhelmed with so many recommendations…
Cooky: What did she say?
She told me to open the water tap and let the water run, no, I don´t think so. I think she told me not to leave the tap open, yes, sure, sure-
And what about the lights! She told me to switch on the lights in the morning or at night?
Ok I will talk to her later…
WILLIAM: Of course Cooky took advantage of the absence of Mrs. Magic and entered her Magic Laboratory…
IN THE LAB
A noise: Crash!!!
Cooky: Ohhh, nooo!!! I have broken one of Mrs. Magic potions. What´s the matter with my voice?
What am I going to do? Help, Help!
William: Who is there, who needs help? Cooky, Why are you crying?
Cooky: I´m crying because I have broken one of Mrs. Magic potions bottle and she is going to kill me with her “Magic Wand”…
William: Oh no, I´m breathing the potion vapours like you!
Cooky: Unlucky you! Now you are going to share my horrible fate! Ha, ha, ha.
William: Cooky, it’s not funny… Ok it’s a little bit, but don’t laugh at me Cooky!
Cooky: Hey! Mrs. Magic has got a book with the information on potions, maybe it has the solution for our problems.
William: Let’s find the book
(Looking for the book)
William: Here is the book.
Cooky: Look up voice in the index!!!
William: Here it is! page 111111.
POEM:
If you want to cure your throat,
And recuperate your voice,
You should find a magic yellow tree.
Squeeze the juice from its yellow fruit
And drink it with a spoon
William: Now we have to go to the wood to find the magic fruit!

(Fool´s Garden)
I´m sitting here in a boring wood
It´s just another rainy Sunday afternoon
I´m trying to find
The Magic Fruit
I´m hanging around,
I´m waiting for you
But nothing ever happens
And I wonder.
I´m In the wood
I´m walking about
I´m running too far
I´d like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely
I´m waiting for you
But nothing ever happens
And I wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me
About the Magic fruit
And all that I can see
Is just a yellow lemon tree
I´m turning my head
Up and down
I´m turning, turning,
turning, turning,
turning around
And all that I can see
Is just another lemon tree
Da, da, da, dad deed da deed dad, Da…
I´m sitting here
I miss my voice
I like to go out
Living with joy
But there is a heavy cloud
Inside my head
I feel so tired
That I want to sit
But nothing ever happens
and I wonder.
Isolation is not good for me,
Isolation, I don´t want to sit on a lemon tree
I´m walking around
In a boring wood
Maybe anyhow
I´ll get another try
And everything will happen
And you´ll wonder
I wonder how,
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me about
the yellow magic fruit
and all that I can see
is just another lemon tree
I´m turning my head up and down
I´m turning, turning, turning,
Turning, turning , around.
And all that I can see
is just a yellow lemon tree.
And I wonder, I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me about
The blue, blue sky
And all that I can see
And all that I can see,
And all that I can see
Is just a yellow lemon tree.
William: A tree!!!
Cooky: A yellow tree!!!
Both: A yellow lemon tree!!!
William: Lemon is the fruit we need!
Cooky: Sure! Lemon is the solution!
William: Let’s take some lemons!
Cooky: Let’s go back to the cave
IN THE CAVE
William: Let’s prepare the potion, you take a spoon and I prepare the lemonade, but hurry up, Mrs. Magic is coming.
(Glu, glu, glu)
Mrs. Magic: Hello Cooky!!
Cooky: Hello Mrs. Magic!! Are you happy with the conference?
Mrs. Magic: What happens with your voice?, and… Hello William, what are you doing here?
William: I’m not here.
Mrs. Magic: Oh, OK.
William: Cooky´ s voice is maybe strange because he did… I mean … he did not drop any potion bottle...
Mrs. Magic: I see. Oh my Lord, my laboratory!!!
William: Cooky… Have you cleaned the lab…
Cooky: Upss!!!!!!
Mrs. .Magic: Cooky!!!
DA, DA, DA,DA, DA, DI, DA, DA, DA, DI, DA………..

¡FELICES FIESTAS!

FRUITS OF THE HEART
My heart is always full of people I know or I have never met, everyone is comfortable inside it and they do not weigh me or hinder me.
Walking through the new amazing Torrejón de Ardoz and seeing the effort of the government team to make this town something special, I am so glad to see that the generation of children and youth I met at that time, now love their people, this fact makes my eyes wetted and my carol singing by passing through our main plaza adorned.
Our new Mayor Don Pedro Rollan Ojeda, who was at the same secondary school that my son attended to can be said that already belongs to the children of Torrejón de Ardoz, those who care about their people, those who have embellished and dignified it.
Thanks to all of you. When I came to this town nobody appeared to love it. It was taken by drugs and violence, but luckily for us there was a generation of courageous people willing to change things. Thanks to all of you for your effort and enthusiasm. Thanks for making Torrejón de Ardoz a site worth visiting.
Now, I believe that as a result of the hard work of this generation of government, everything is heading towards excellence and despite the easy criticism, usually from those who do not want to do or give but receive; in spite of them, there is a group of teachers and professors who study with determination to participate in bilingual education, which makes me think of the wonderful people who we can become.
Certainly our Torrejón de Ardoz group of government have proven that "Will is power" and thanks to them many isolated and heroic efforts that have lasted years in the shade have began to give way to a new reality.
Thank you very much indeed!
I will try to cooperate with those who work more and more to make our Town beautiful and bright.
I wish you a Happy New Year!
¿Por qué me he decidido a hacerlo?
